1970 Wheel Camper Econo-Wagon 8-2 - Renovations Underway

Being that the original wood was, well...kinda hideous and smelled very much of old wood, we decided to brighten it up a bit with some primer and paint...

...and more paint.  We chose a color that worked well with the floor and the rest of the vintage decor.

Cabinet doors and drawer fronts painted a complimentary green.

    If I'm not mistaken, we used Zinsser 1 2 3 Primer and Glidden Interior Semi-Gloss Paint. We would have gotten both at our local Walmart. Hope this helps!

  3. I talked with the Behr Paint rep whom I have known for a while. He recommended using Extra Strength Kilz to prime the cabinets (the latex one) and then to use Behr Alkalyd paint. It's also a water based paint, but stronger than the latex paint. I am going to give it a try. I'm
